Pattern Energy

Spring Valley Wind Farm is Nevada's first wind farm. The farm is owned and operated by Pattern Energy. The facility is located in Spring Valley, northwest of Great Basin National Park and approximately 30 miles east of Ely, Nevada.

These community partners support local White Pine County events, residents, and businesses as employers and stewards of our White Pine County landscapes.  More than $5 million went to the local school district from sales tax during project construction. An estimated $40 million will go to county taxes, land leases, and community donations during the first 20 years of operations.
